On the 21st of December, The Larbi Foundation extended its philanthropic mission to Echoing Hill Village, a home for orphans and individuals with disabilities and special needs. This initiative aimed to spend quality time, share meals, and create memorable moments with a group often overlooked by society.

The event, which lasted seven hours from 10 AM to 5 PM, was a remarkable celebration of inclusivity and joy. It was packed with various activities designed to engage and bring happiness to the residents of Echoing Hill Village. The day featured art drawing, Dame (checkers), Ludu, Oware, and Musical Chairs—all tailored to encourage participation and foster a sense of community among the 50 special needs children and their caretakers.

23 dedicated volunteers of The Larbi Foundation actively participated in these activities as well, creating a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere filled with laughter and commemorations. Beyond the games and interactions, the volunteers dined with the children, sharing snacks, a hearty lunch, and refreshing drinks. This act of togetherness further deepened the bonds between the foundation members and the residents.

In addition to the time spent together, The Larbi Foundation made generous donations to support the daily needs of Echoing Hill Village. These donations included clothing items such as crocs, shoes, slippers, dozens of singlets, and underwear. They also provided essential hygiene products like sanitary pads, soap, and deodorants, ensuring the facility’s residents had access to necessary care items.

The event underscored The Larbi Foundation’s commitment to inclusivity and compassion. By bringing joy, companionship, and tangible support, the foundation made a lasting impact on the lives of the Echoing Hill Village community. The day’s activities not only entertained but also highlighted the importance of recognizing and including people with special needs in societal interactions and planning.

As the sun set on a day filled with meaningful connections and uplifting experiences, both the volunteers and residents left with smiles on their faces and hearts full of gratitude. The Larbi Foundation will continue to champion the values of empathy, inclusivity, and shared humanity.
